The Hussar Community Hall is a gathering place for all members of our community and surrounding areas. It is a well equipped facility with a full commercial kitchen, bar area, large dance floor and stage. The occupancy load of the hall is 385 and we have tables, chairs, a sound system, projector screens and equipment, tablecloths and all kitchen supplies including an Altosham oven.
The Village campground is located directly behind the hall which can be used for weddings, reunions and other activities that can be booked in conjunction with the hall.
The was renovated in 2015 with the addition of a new lobby and storage area and a complete reconfiguration of the kitchen and washrooms. The community works hard at maintaining and operating the hall on a volunteer basis.
The hussar and District Hall Maintenance Society owns and operated the facility with the help of the Hussar Lions Club.
